How ION8 water bottles are made sustainably
The production of ION8 water bottles is done in a way that prioritizes sustainability. The bottles are made from BPA-free materials like Recyclon and stainless steel, which are both durable and safe for drinking.
These materials are also recyclable, which means that they can be reused and repurposed after their lifespan is over.
ION8's manufacturing process is also designed to minimize waste and energy usage. This is achieved by using solvent free powder paints which are highly durable, meaning our bottles last for longer.
In addition to this we actively try to minimise our packaging. This means no boxes, no tubes and no plastic tags. Furthermore, we use recycled materials for over 99% of our packaging.
What is Recyclon?
Recyclon is a transparent bio-based plastic made with plant biomass materials. It is entirely carbon neutral and has a lower melting point.
This reduces both the processing temprature and cycle time which dramatically reduces the energy used to create our products.
ION8's carbon neutral initiative
ION8 is not only committed to creating sustainable products, but we have also taken significant steps towards becoming a carbon neutral company.
We have partnered with Climate Partner, a leading carbon management company, to measure and offset our carbon emissions.
We have invested in renewable energy projects, such as wind and solar power, to offset the carbon emissions produced during the manufacturing and transportation of our products.
