Refund policy
We want you to love your ION8 bottle from the first sip. If it's not quite right, here's how we handle it.
30-Day Return Window
You have 30 days from the day your order arrives to return it for a full refund — used or unused, in or out of the packaging.
We believe in trying before fully committing, so returns are accepted even after the product has been used.

Please make sure:
- It's within 30 days of receiving your order
- You have proof of purchase (order confirmation or receipt)
- Your purchase was made on www.ion8.co.uk
Bought from another retailer? If your ION8 came from Amazon, John Lewis, or anywhere else, please contact them directly. We can only process returns for purchases made on our official site.
Non-Returnable Items
A few things can’t be returned:
- Personalised or engraved products
- Food and drink items (e.g. protein bars, electrolytes)
- Gift cards
- Bottles damaged after purchase (drops, dents, misuse, or dishwasher damage on non–dishwasher-safe products)
Exchanges
If your bottle arrives damaged or faulty, we'll send a replacement. Start the process through the returns portal and we'll get it sorted.
Refunds
Once your return has been received and inspected, we'll confirm by email. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within a few working days.
We refund:
- Full price and sale items
- Used or unused bottles (within the 30-day window)
Still waiting after 10 days? Check with your bank or card provider first, then get in touch with us.
Returning a Gift
If you received an ION8 product as a gift and want to return it, we can issue store credit instead of refunding the original purchaser. Just let us know when you start your return through the returns portal.
A Few More Things
- Refunds don't include original shipping fees
- Orders returned to sender due to an incorrect address, missed delivery, or refused delivery will incur a £3.95 restocking fee
- Returns after 30 days may not be accepted
- If your original order included a free gift (earned by spending over a certain threshold), this may need to be returned if the refund brings your order value below the qualifying amount
