Do you ship internationally?

YesYes, we do ship internationally. The shipping fee and transit time may vary depending on your location. EU orders under £135 / €150 should be delivered without incurring any extra charges, but any other international order will require Duties and/or Taxes to be paid by the customer.

Where is my free bottle?

Did you request one?The free bottle offer for orders over £30 is currently available to UK based customers only, and it can’t be used in combination with other discount codes.If both of those conditions are met, you’ll be able to add your free bottle manually to your basket - a pop-up should appear once your order total (before postage) reaches £30. Which bottles keep drinks hot or cold?

Only insulated steel protects temperaturesOur thermal range of vacuum insulated double wall stainless steel products can provide heat or cold temperature protection. Our thermal bottles and mugs can be used as a flask for pouring hot drinks, or a drinks bottle for drinking directly from the top with cold drinks.To drink directly from a cup when drinks are hot, we recommend our travel mug.Recyclon bottles and single wall Lightweight Stainless Steel bottles do not have thermal properties to protect temperatures for extended periods. They keep drinks warmer or colder than a cup or mug, but not for hours as you would expect from a thermal bottle.

Can i use your bottles without a straw?

Yes!A straw is only required if you wish to suck liquid out of the bottle while it's in an upright position. Without a straw, you drink from the spout by tilting the bottle like a cup.

What ages are your bottles suitable for?

3 and UpWe don't recommend allowing children under 3 years old to use our bottles due to the removable seals and potential for spillage.

What is the best way to wash my ION8 in the dishwasher?

Top shelf, cool cycleIf you'd like to clean your ION8 bottle in the dishwasher, we recommend placing it on the top shelf and selecting a cool cycle. Most dishwasher manufacturers can advise on which setting this would be for your specific machine, but as a general guideline, any cycle up to 50°C is safe for our bottles.

My bottle leaks even when it's closed

First, are you sure it's actually leaking?Condensation can form on the outside of any non-insulated bottle where there is a big difference between the temperatures inside and ouside the bottle. So if for example you fill your single wall steel or Recyclon bottle with cold liquid, throw it in your bag and sit in a warm vehicle for half an hour, then it's possible the inside of your bag will get wet, giving the impression that your bottle has leaked when it actually hasn't.Not that? OK let's check your sealsOne of our main priorities at Ion8 is ensuring your bottle is 100% leakproof no matter the adventure or challenge.To ensure maximum safety, in addition to our triple locking security we also have three seals incorporated into our ION8 OneTouch 2.0 lid.With all three seals in place this stops your ION8 from leaking from the drinking spout, air vent and sides of the lid when closed.Each of the seals are made from transparent hypoallergenic food grade silicon meaning they are heat resistant, durable, and can be used for a number of years.Each seal can also be removed and cleaned separately from the main lid and bottle body.If any of these parts are damaged or missing your bottle may leak, so we advise to always check your seals before setting off.Buy replacement sealsShould you notice any seals missing or damaged, we have replacement seals available for purchase here.

What is the little sachet inside my bottle?

Don't worry, it's totally safe - but you should remove itThe sachet is full of charcoal, non-toxic and safe. It is intended to maintain freshness and cleanliness during storage and transit. While it should be removed before use, if you accidentally had a drink with it in there, it poses no health risks at all.

Why does my bottle smell of petrol/chemicals?

That new bottle smellBottles can sometimes have a slight smell when they are new, but this shouldn't be overpowering or linger more than a few washes. These suggestions may help:1. Baking Soda and Water: Mix a tablespoon of baking soda with warm water and let the lid soak for a few hours or overnight. This can help neutralize odours.2. Vinegar Soak: Fill the lid with a mixture of white vinegar and water (equal parts) and leave it for a few hours. Rinse thoroughly afterwards.

DRINKING

OneTouch bottles have an air vent for smooth, spill-free flow. The side spout allows for minimal tilt for perfect hydration. If you over-tilt, water may dribble from the vent.

WASHING

Rinse the bottle and cap with cool water before use. After use, rinse with warm water and dish soap only. Do not scrub with brushes or abrasives. Air dry thoroughly before storage with the cap off. Hand wash or use a dishwasher on a cool wash cycle.

Restrictions: Do not freeze when full, boil, or microwave the bottle. Not suitable for carbonated drinks or non-drinkable liquids. Do not wash in a dishwasher on a hot cycle.
